IT'S TIME TO ADMIT TO THE WORLD THAT MY GIRL AND I SHARE AN ADDICTION. MAGAZINES. IT'S BECOME A PROBLEM AND WAS GETTING OUT OF HAND. THIS STACK FOR EXAMPLE.
3 FEET THICK BY 4FT LONG. THAT'S A LOT OF MAGS AND MONEY SPENT. SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH. WE JUST COULDN'T LET GO. 
SO WE TOOK CONTROL, ADMITTED OUR ADDICTIONS AND STARTED THE PROCESS OF RECOVERY. THIS IS THE RESULT. A FOOT HIGH STACK OF TEARSHEETS THAT WERE ESSENTIAL TO OUR CREATIVITY AND REFERENCING NEEDS.
THEN WE GAVE IT ALL BACK TO MOTHER EARTH. SOON TO BE A RECYCLED CUP OR PLATE AT YOUR NEXT BBQ. IT FEELS GOOD TO GIVE.

Hi---I just stumbled onto your blog in a totally random way and although we don't know each other, I just HAVE to comment on your admittance of your 'magazine addiction'! First, it's always nice to know that I'm not alone in the habit. Secondly, I've been tearing pages out of my magazines, too! A pile of those is certainly a lot smaller than if all the magazines they came from were stacked up. Thirdly, don't you wish you could get paid to read magazines every day? Fourthly, I think it's GREAT that you and your girlfriend share the love of the glossies. There aren't very many guys out there that do, or at least who would admit to it!
